RAL has developed a compact, low mass, wide-angle CCD camera for remote sensing from small or micro-satellites. The 2.5kg camera operates at visible wavelengths and uses a large format CCD to give 250m resolution with a field of view of ±8.5°. Two flight models have been completed, one for the BASR-B micro-satellite (for the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission), and the other on MoroccoSat (for the Moroccan Royal Centre for Remote Sensing).
