Optical Systems Group

The Optical Systems Group is mainly involved in the design, build and test of optical instrumentation on UK funded satellite and ground based astronomy programmes.

We are involved at all levels of optical design from the first order design derived from the science requirements, through to delivery of finished hardware.

Optical component testing
System alignment, build and test
Optical design and build of dedicated test equipment
ISO 9001
ESA and NASA quality levels.
Close liaison with the science requirements and engineering teams.
